Greenland: Crossing the Ice Cap: Ski and Trek

This expedition appeals to the very serious adventurer. The trip takes place in Southern Greenland, where the variation of the landscape is tremendous and the distance across the Ice Cap is far less than to the north.

The first part is over land, the second part is through glaciers on the way towards the plateau and the snow, and third part is on ski directly on the Ice Cap! You will hike through incredible landscapes of lush mountain meadows and blue glacial lakes before reaching your first glacier where the true adventure begins. After crossing the glacier we reach the edge of the ice cap, fasten on our skis and explore this vast remote wilderness, where few people have gone before.

The journey back allows a contrasting view of Greenland as we pass through a large birch forest, glancing back at our last views of the glaciers, a sight which will remain with you for many years to follow!
