Jason De Carteret: Expedition Leader
MD of Voyage Concepts. Jason has led ski expeditions to both the South and the North Pole.
In 2001 he became the first-ever Briton to complete the world’s most
northern dog-sled race, 300 miles north of the Arctic Circle. He has
also lectured at The Royal Geographical Society in London and Hong
Kong. |

Andrew Regan:
Andrew’s an experienced Polar traveller, has
already been to both the North and the South Pole and was the main
driving force at putting this expedition together. He believes that
as more people are educated about the Polar Regions the more they
will protect them in the future. |

Richard Griffiths:
Richard has made one trip to the North
Pole and this was his first major expedition to Antarctica. A
committed team member who has co-ordinated the planning, structure
and logistics of the expedition. |

Andrew Moon:
First skied to the South Pole last year and had
a desire to return to carry out a major expedition. An expert in
Polar history, he spent many hours researching the correct
routes and the challenges that were to face the team on this amazing
journey. |

Gunnar Egilsson:
The Icelandic specialist who modified the
vehicle, he was in charge of keeping the vehicle going on this
world record expedition. Gunnar is one of the most experienced 6x6
vehicle drivers and as he built the Challenger he knows the vehicle
better than anybody else in the world. |

Andrew Miles:
A professional cameraman who was part of the team
recording the event on the new High Definition cameras. The footage
will be used for lectures and talks around the country. |
